1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Lipedema IQ (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or website.

2. Not medical advice

Lipedema IQ is a personal health tracking and self-management tool. It is not a medical device. It does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or clinical advice.

The insights, correlations, and reports generated by the app are based on self-reported data and should not be interpreted as medical guidance. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

Educational content published on our website and within the app is for informational purposes only and does not establish a patient-provider relationship.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Use the app to collect data about other users without consent.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Lipedema IQ offers free and premium features. Premium subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your app store settings.

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and branding within Lipedema IQ are owned by Lipedema IQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.

7. Limitation of liability

Lipedema IQ is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any insights generated will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lipedema IQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Data and privacy

Your use of Lipedema IQ is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app, which will permanently remove all your data.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
